About these records
Kinder Cemetery's records were kept for generations on paper and, more recently, on large hand-drawn charts. This website transcribes those records into fully searchable text so that anyone can find a name — something the earlier image-based site could not offer. A few entries are still being checked against the originals; these are marked so visitors know to treat them with care. If you spot an error or can add information about a family member, please let us know.
A hidden history of pioneer roots
Kinder Cemetery is cared for by the Kinder Cemetery Association — a Board of Trustees descended from the families buried here — who are continually seeking partners in preserving this beautiful, secluded, historical resting place.
